Sometimes I wonder if there isn't a part of our ancestral memory that wants to hibernate during the winter. I certainly feel that way today. Taking a nap - supposedly incredibly good for your health and for perking you up in the afternoon - seems to have the opposite affect on me.
Perhaps I should learn a lesson from my furry companions - who do not fret when they are napping. They don't have an agenda of thing to do every day (well, maybe Riley does). They thankfully sleep in the sun whenever the opportunity presents itself and I think they are the better for it.
