Angel on My Shoulder
Remember the old images in cartoons and movies where a person had an angel on one shoulder urging them to do good and a devil on the other shoulder tempting them to sin? This morning, when the alarm went off, my furry family members decided to reenact this. Four cats stapled me too the bed, urging me to join them in dozing the day away. You can catch angelic Kodi's look in an earlier post - he pleaded the case that it was time to be up and about, glorying in the bright new day. Riley bounced up and down in her urgency - moving too fast for a photo. I ended up listening to the "angelic" urging of the dogs - the cats may give me dirty looks but they don't pee on the floor if I don't move fast enough ;).

Those naughty, indolent kitty cats, tempting you to self-indulgence, lol. Not that they aren't right sometimes...Sometimes you should take a rest, and loll in the sunshine....;-)
ReplyDeleteExactly! Of course, angelic doggies want you up primarily to get into mischief of some sort. Perhaps there is such a think as saintly leisure ;).
