This blog began with the idea of sharing stories about our furry family members and then morphed into a place to share my spiritual journey. I have learned a great deal about being alive and being human from my non-human companions and this expansion of this blog's purpose seems natural.

Holding the Sun
One thing I love about flowers is how they seem to catch and hold the sun. Flowers are beautiful on their own; however, when they are illuminated by the sun they become transfigured.
I think it is the same with us when we hold love and let love illuminate our inner beauty.
